Nevada AB356, in plain terms
Nevada’s Assembly Bill 356 prohibits using Colorado River water to irrigate “nonfunctional” turf on properties not zoned exclusively for single-family homes. That covers commercial, HOA common areas, multifamily, and government sites across Southern Nevada.
Nonfunctional turf is decorative grass no one uses — medians, entryways, strips along sidewalks and parking lots.
